In his comments for NV regarding decision of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to fine Gazprom in the amount of 85 billion UAH for systematic abuse of its monopolistic statuse on the gas transit market through the territory of Ukraine via main pipelines, president of the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" Mykhailo Gonchar stressed that this is an avidence of political will by the current Ukrainian authorities to strong fight against Russian monopolist. "We show Russians, that they have to know their place. And to Gazprom, that the time of ceremonies is over". Ukraine gives also clear message to European partners that it will act as strong as possible to defend own positions.
