One of goals for Russian agression against Ukraine should be breakdown of shale gas production programmes, in particular, development of Yuzivska field by Shell and Oleska field by Chevron. The third target was to stop development of deep-water Black Sea shelf by ExxonMobil.

This was reported by the President of the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" Mykhailo Gonchar during the round table in Ukrinform, entitled "National Development Fund as the mechanism for deoligarchization".
