Ukrainian citizen are aware about difficult situation, domestic gas production industry is facing under current price regulation and opacity of resource and revenues distribution. We are pleased to propose our readers considerations of Mr. Vasyl Prusak, project coordinator Center for energy savings Lviv.

He believes in particular, that in case of gas price increase, a mechanism for ensuring investments into the gas production industry should be created with simultaneous guaranties of benefits for payers. It might become thrue via an special investment fund, which could collect gas payments of citizens after price increase, while collected payments should become a basis for a personale pension fund with the right of inheritance.
