27 October 2016, Kiev -  As it was reported by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine,  the Ukrainian side hopes that when making a decision of the European Commission on the regime of the use of OPAL gas pipeline capacities,  the requirements of the EU energy legislation will be met, in particular, Article 36 of Directive 2009/73 / EC concerning common rules for the natural gas internal market and EU competition law, which does not allow the actions aimed at the abuse of a dominant position by the one of market participants.
