The security review of the CACDS No 18 is devoted to expert assessments of new external and internal influences and transformation of threats which arose in the period after the visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States, after carrying out of the iconic exercises "West-2017" of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. It is also about assessing escalation of confrontation of key political groups in Ukraine, analysis of the issue of explosions on military arsenals in the Vinnytsia region.

Separate expert reviews provide assessments of the events of the war in the Donbass, of the current issues of energy security, and the modernization of Russia's land component of its Armed Forces. In order to analyze the potential of neighboring countries, reviews of the development of special services of Romania and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are provided.
