Perspectives of the European gas market according to American, European and Russian estimations were presented on the panel discussion during XXII Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdroj.In the summer of 2012 several studies on the issues of gas market and global energy were published. The Economist magazine published special report “An unconventional bonanza”. In Russia a study of Moscow School of Management Skolkovo Energy Centre “European gas market: dreams do not always come true” was published, which was prepared together with the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. The leading expert of the American Center for Strategic and International Studies, retired US Ambassador Keith Smith published an article “Unconventional gas and European Security: Politics and Foreign Policy of fracking in Europe”.
