The agenda of the fourth day included visits only to two objects, but presented both programme and practical aspects, how in Slovakia energy efficiency measures are implemented.

 The first place was Presov region energy cluster. ELENA programme implementing director Rudolf Poejdala talked about current situation with energy efficiency, potential to increase energy savings, engagement with regard to European financial instruments to finance projects' implementation. Mr Poejdala presented also available financial instruments on Slovak market and their requerements. According to him, interest rated on loans for energy efficiency are around 1 per cent, or even 0,68 per cent, pay back period  — 10 years. At the same time, private banks provide loans for the same issues with 4-5 per cent of interest rate.

 Second part of the day the group spent in Velky Saris, where city mayor deputy said about the situation in the town, its history and famous places.

 Ukrainian delegation also was informed about amounts and types of support, the town has received from the EU funds.

 One of projects, financed through the EU money, was a project of modernizing public city light system in Velky Saris. The project was implemented by the company  O.S.V.O. comp a.s., which representatives explained both their business and the project special aspects. After implementation, the project reduced energy consumption in light system by 60 per cent and increased comfort and better lighting of public spaces .
