Does the IMF force to increase tariffs on gas?
The gas tariffs for households may be increased, following negotiations with the IMF, according to the new Energy minister of Ukraine Juriy Prodan. Arseniy Yatseniuk also stated during presentation of the new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, that new government will be forced to introduce unpopular measures to stabilize situation in Ukraine. A commentary for the radio "Golos Stolytsy" of Anrdii Chubyk, Executive Director of the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XXI":
"The core problem is not the increase of gas tariffs from itself, but the procedure do conduct it"
