The international online round table “Challenges and Threats to the Black Sea Region” will be held from 14.30 till 16.30 (Kyiv time) on July 31, 2020, by the Centre for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” in the framework of the project "Promoting Security in the Black Sea Region through Greater Engagement of Non-Governmental Organizations", with the support of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.

The Centre for Global Studies Strategy XXI invites to attend briefing “Who sets the rules in the Black Sea? Russia vs NATO” and presentation of the next issue 3 (35) of the Black Sea Security Journal, which will be held on October 29, 2019 from 10:00 till 11:00 in the press centre of the IA “Glavkom” (Kyiv, vul. Ukraine-NATO-EU: Focus on Information and Cyber Security

The Centre for Global Studies Strategy XXI, V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Office in Ukraine organize an international conference “Putin’s Wars in Eastern Europe: Post-Crimean Reality”.

At the conference, the consequences of Russia’s occupation of Crimea and ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine for the European security, the security situation in the Eastern European region, current and possible hybrid threats to the countries of the region, possible ways of countering them will be discussed.

A program of the conference will be foreseen to concentrate on the following issues:

• Hybrid threats of the post-Crimean policy of the Russian Federation for new independent states
• Military aspect of the Russian policy in the Azov and Black Sea region
• Regional features of the RF hybrid aggression
• Humanitarian instruments and consequences of the Russian hybrid aggression.

The round table “Strengthening energy security of Ukraine and the EU through the coordination and common actions based on the Association Agreement” will be held by the Centre for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Office in Ukraine on November 22, 2018 in Kyiv.
