Yukos' investors initiate the process of deprivation of property of the Russian state

According to  "Süddetsche Zeitung" Chairman of GML Tim Osborne initiated the process of deprivation of the russian state property in the US, France, UK in the case of "Yukos". It is also expected decisions of courts in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The deadline for penalty payments in accordance with the decision of the Hague Court of Arbitration (15 January 2015) ended, Russia did not payments. Former shareholders of "YUKOS" appealed to the courts of the USA, France and Great Britain requesting the decision of the Hague Court of recovery of $ 50 billion. According to the complaint confiscation of assets expected direct beneficiaries -  "Gazprom" and "Rosneft". It is expected that confiscation calculation will be carried out at a nominal price of shares, not the market. Given this expected loss "Gazprom" and "Rosneft" may exceed $ 50 billion.
