Energy in the Geopolitical Context: Ukrainian Dimension

In Budapest a conference "Energy in the Geopolitical Context: Ukrainian Dimension" was held in the framework of interbational platform "Friends of  Deoccupation of Crimea". 

On 28 March, 2018 on the premises of the State Self-Government of Ukrainians in Hungary, the third conference was held in the framework of the initiative of the President of Ukraine on the international platform "Friends of the De-occupation of Crimea", devoted to energy issues. 

 

The conference was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Hungary Lubov Nepop, Head of the State Self-Government of Ukrainians of Hungary Yuriy Kravchenko, President of the Center for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" Mykhailo Gonchar, Chairman of the Board of the State Joint Stock Company "Chernomornaftogaz" Svetlana Nezhnova.

Within the framework of the conference, attention was also paid to the situation surrounding the ownership of "Chornomornaftogaz" in the Russian-occupied Crimea and the measures taken to return it within the framework of the general work on the de-occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula, the developments surrounding the refusal of Gazprom to comply with the Stockholm arbitration court, which confirms the unreliability of Russia as a partner. The subject of the discussion was the positive results of reforms in Ukraine.
