The Forum is organised by the Warsaw-based Institute for Eastern Studies, co-organizer - Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
This year's Forum will be attended by approx. 1,000 delegates from 25 countries, in particular from Ukraine, Poland, neighboring countries, the European Union, the United States of America, etc. Among them:
- heads of Parliaments of Poland and Ukraine - the Speaker of the Polish Sejm - Marek Kuchciński, the Speaker of the Polish Senate – Stanisław Karczewski, as well as the Chairperson of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada - Andrii Parubii;
- representatives of governments, parliaments, political circles, diplomacy, EU institutions;
- representatives of businesses, international organizations, think tanks, expert circles, media.
Mykhailo Gonchar, the president of the Centre for global studies “Strategy XXI”, as well as Matteo Cazzulani - associated expert of the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" will also participate in this Forum. They will be speaking on the discussion panels, presenting the expert opinions on specific issues of EU policies, energy security, reforming Ukrainian energy sector under current external and internal political situation.
During the two-days Forum, according to its organizers: “The participants will focus on the key issues of the economic potential of Ukraine, energy security, international relations, the impact of culture and historical memory on the current relations between nations, regional development opportunities, cooperation with partners from Poland and the other European countries as well as international policy issues. The report, the panel discussions and the presentations over the Forum will pertain to reforms in Ukraine, the opportunities arising from the Association Agreement with the European Union and the conditions for the construction of modernization of local government and civil society. The issues of Ukraine’s security in Europe and Euro-Atlantic system will also be addressed".
