As it became known a week before the New Year December 23, one of the Ukrainian electricity suppliers "Prykarpattyaoblenergo" reported that the system power supply fails, which is actually de-energize the Ivano-Frankivsk region, including the regional center. It subsequently emerged that this was the result of cyber attacks on objects of energy system of Ukraine. In the comments in the media on December 14 by the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XX" there was noted a high probability of such a scenario.
