Coal sector will be among top[recipients of financial support from the state budget 2018. Minenergo will also receive significant support for implementation of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035. 

Revenues from the energy sector will be neglected by growing subsidies amount, while energy efficiency and scientific reseach for energy sector remain underfunded so far. The state budget provides no information about creation of the oil and oil product reserve, which is very important for the country and one of obligations under Association Agreement with the EU.
