Cazzulani : Poland must be more committed to a strategic partnership with Kyiv

Warsaw - Matteo Cazzulani, an analyst of the Center of Global Studies "Strategy XXI", said Poland should utilize the LNG terminal recently realized in Świnoujście to help Europe further diversify gas supplies by importing liquefied natural gas not only from Qatar, but also from the United States, which eventually started exporting liquefied shale gas to Great Britain.

Mr. Cazzulani, during an interview on the Ukrainian section of the Polish national radio broadcast Polskie Radio with the journalist Olena Babakova, added that a renewed commitment of Poland to help support Ukraine's integration within the Euro Atlantic community should be a priority for the Polish Government, as there cannot be a secure Europe without an European Ukraine.

"The Polish Government, as it is just, is strongly committed to strengthen NATO presence in Central Eastern Europe and, as well, the creation of the Intermarium alliance with Rumania, Lithuania and other member states of the European Union whose interests are opposed by Russia and Germany. However, the Polish government must also work for a renewed strategic partnership with Ukraine, in particular now, while Ukraine is suffering from both Russia's military aggression and an internal political crisis" Mr. Cazzulani said.
