Cazzulani, on an interview on the Polish National broadcast Polskie Radio 24 during the swearing in ceremony of President Duda, also praised the project of the Polish President to make Poland the advocate within the European Union of the member states of Central Eastern Europe: an ambitious goal which, according to Cazzulani, is needed to balance the Franco-German axis which is de facto governing Europe nowadays.

 

"In aiming to make Poland the leading country of Central Eastern Europe, President Duda could finally balance relationships within the European Union after Poland and other countries of Central Eastern Europe have been for too long considered as 'lower-class members' of the European Union by the Eurozone countries. Moreover, the commitment of Duda and Cameron both to the strengthening of ties with the United States and a greater presence of NATO in Central Eastern Europe will definitively boost the security of the whole Trans Atlantic community that European Commission President Juncker neither European Union High Representative for Foreign and Defense policy Mogherini failed to ensure" Mr. Cazzulani said.
