Europe aimes to avoid new large-scale confrontation by defining situation in own Eastern part mostly as Ukrainian crisis, sometimes as Ukrainian-Russian conflict and in the most recent time very carefully as Russian aggression.

Many European politicians do not want to recognize, at least publicly, that V.Putin have already started and conducts a war against Europe, using a couple of non-conventional actions instead of traditional military invasion on territories, which is known under the definition "hybrid war".

The Centre for Global Studies Strategy XXI experts made a serie of presentations of the analytical research "Hybrid war in Eastern Europe. Non-military dimension. Energy component", prepared in November 2014. At the end of November and early December representatives of the Centre Strtategy XXI presented results of the study on converences and round tables in Bratislava, Prag, Warsaw and Paris.
