Bulletin on security issues Challenges and Risks No. 5 (92)

The Center for Army, Conversion, and Disarmament Studies (CACDS) offers you the new, 5th issue of the "Challenges and Risks" Bulletin, which assesses security risks from March 1 to March 15, 2018.

The security review of the CACDS # 5 is traditionally devoted to the analysis of domestic political events in Ukraine and the course of international events that have an impact on Ukraine's security.

In addition, the experts of the CACDS insist on the need to increase attention to the emergence of a new core issue - the escalation of Ukrainian-Polish relations. It also includes an overview of the Black Sea balance of power and the growing influence of the Russian Federation as a result of the seizure and occupation of the Crimea by Russia.

Some expert materials include assessing the influence of the Chinese factor on the global security system, which, due to the Chinese influence on the Russian Federation, may have a direct relation with Ukraine. There is also a traditional analytical review devoted to the study of key trends in the rearmament of NATO countries.
