Bulletin on security issues 'Challenges and Risks' No. 23 (86)

The Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies (CACDS) offers you a new, 23rd issue of the Bulletin "Challenges and Risks", which assesses security risks from December 1 to December 15, 2017.

The Security Review of the CACDS No. 23 is devoted primarily to the experts' assessments of the growth of diverse threats from Russia, including through the possible use of the territory of the Republic of Belarus. In addition, new challenges, in particular, the threat of import growth and the need to protect the national producer, have been analyzed. The experience of Turkmenistan in organizing the rearmament of the country, as well as the probability of creation of a new anti-Western environment, such as the Warsaw Pact Organization, have been studied.

Separate expert reviews provide assessment and analysis of lessons learned from the Nagorno-Karabakh military conflict (Part 2).
