On October 6-7, 2016, Horný Smokovec hosted Fall Conference of the Slovak Gas and Oil Association (SGOA) within 160 Anniversary of the gas industry in Slovakia. The Conference became a place for discussing chellenges for Central European region with regard to possible future gas projects "Nord Stream II" and "Turkish Stream", as well as variants of gas transportation systems optimization in the region. The President of the Centre for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" Mykhailo Gonchar participated at the Conference upon invitation of the top-managers of SGOA and presented the report "Future Development of Gas Industry in Ukraine".
